Admittedly, the pimp game interplay on 2 P’z in a Pod gets gleefully over the top, evident on “Hotel Bel-Air” and “Vanilla Cream” along with the explicit segues. To that end, Worthy’s production duo LNDN DRGS outdo themselves here, calling back to electro-funk and ’80s R&B boogie on “Sock It 2 Me” and the Roc Marciano-laced “Maybe the Next Time.”
