Tracks by Spiritualized frontman Jason Pierce and the wild-style Sun City Girls—never together, alas—comprise this mostly subdued soundtrack to Harmony Korine's 2007 film about celebrity impersonators. Pierce contributes blues sketches, free improvisation, the self-explanatory "Musicbox Underwater," and the bucolic "Garden Walk" for strings and flute. SCG furnish more fleshed-out instrumentals, including the gorgeous "Mr. Lonely Viola" (a version of Bobby Vinton's 1962 hit) and a wistful Ennio Morricone-inspired desert serenade called "3D Girls."
