Pianist See Siang Wong has a versatile career ranging from performances and recordings of core Classical-Romantic repertoire to contemporary music to cinematic selections. He considers festival appearances with star conductors like Pierre Boulez, Ralf Weikert, and Howard Griffiths as highlights of his career. He has recorded the music of Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, and others. He has also recorded several volumes of music under the title Piano Movie Lounge and Cinema Classics: The Piano at the Movies. When playing contemporary music, Wong has specialized in technically challenging works by a broad range of composers. Several contemporary Swiss composers have dedicated new works to him. He released two albums of a Beethoven Trilogy of rare works in 2021, returning in 2022 with the album Mozart Minore, featuring Mozart's two minor-key piano concertos.
