Canadian R&B singer Remy Shand hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he spent his teenage years doing home recordings and delving into his parents’ extensive R&B and soul collection. At 19, Shand was signed to Motown Records in the U.S. and began recording his debut, THE WAY I FEEL, singing and playing every instrument. The album was released in 2002, receiving four Grammy nominations, and won a Juno Award for Best R&B/Soul Recording of 2003.
