Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I don't remember learning or rehearsing it, but one of my earliest memories is being on stage at State Boulevard Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi. I was singing a duet with my Mom in a Christmas show. I was four years old.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Odelay Fiona Apple, Extraordinary Machine Tom Waits, Mule Variations Mule Variations is as close to a perfect album as I could imagine. ODELAY's range is unparalleled. And everything Fiona Apple does is near-perfect; Extraordinary Machine is my favorite right now. All of this is subject to change at any moment.

Tell us why you chose this song. “So Purple” I found this song with my friend and collaborator Seth Fox, while we were walking through the spirit world talking to trees. It summarizes my spiritual/religious/philosophical perspective. Purple is the middle way, the Tao, God. Whatever you like.
