In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 13, after watching Nirvana’s Live at the Paramount, I picked up my dad’s old guitar. I begged for a new one, but my parents said only if I learned 30 chords. The next day, with bandaged fingers and all chords memorized, I proved I was ready.
