A vocalist, composer, playback singer and actor, Arjun Kanungo pursues ambitious creative projects with a passion, making Bollywood party anthems with slinky Indian pop rhythms.
• Kanungo cut his teeth on tour with renowned playback singer and vocalist Asha Bhosle. He also studied Indian classical music and played in a metal band.
• His breakthrough as a Bollywood playback singer came with “Khoon Choos Le” from the soundtrack to Go Goa Gone (2013), a high-octane pairing with Suraj Jagan and Priya Panchal.
• Kanungo’s 2015 solo debut single, “Baaki Baatein Peene Baad (Shots)” featuring rapper Badshah, earned him a 2015 GIMA Award for Best Music Debut.
• A string of hits marrying swaying dance rhythms with honeyed vocals—including 2018 duets “La La La” with Neha Kakkar and “Aaya Na Tu” with Momina Mustehsan—helped his fanbase grow rapidly.
• For his Bollywood acting debut, Kanungo joined a cast led by Salman Khan in 2021’s Radhe.
• Kanungo has also composed ad jingles and manages Promethean Audio, a Mumbai recording studio he launched when he was 18 years old.
