In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember as child listening to Brenda Fassie, her music use to make me so happy. I knew from there that I wanted to be a musician and make people feel that good. I've been singing ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? ANATII, Iyeza DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Scorpion Kings Kelvin Momo, Amukelani This album healed me, when I was going through a hard time, it truly was "iyeza" medicine to my soul . Scorpion Kings 1'st opened up the Pandora's box to "ama-piano" it will forever be the blue print. "Amukelani" is real feel good dance music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bozza” Bozza is an ama-piano song , it's an ode to the township of Soweto. It's a song for the underdog and a reminder to always believe in yourself not matter the circumstance. It describes the Soweto culture our boldness and confidence.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Ama-Piano fest in Bostwana, it was my 1st time preforming outside the country. Meeting fans and seeing people enjoy my music was amazing. I felt so appreciated and had the time of my life.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to do a visual album, I love telling stories.
