Brooklyn duo Bathe make hypnotic indie soul they dubbed "surf R&B," blending woozy psychedelic guitar riffs and ambient textures, as well as drawing inspiration from their Cuban and Afro-Caribbean backgrounds. Rising out of a vibrant N.Y.C. community of genre-defying Black performers, they first garnered buzz with their 2019 EP I'll Miss You before gaining wider attention with 2021's Bicoastal. In 2024, they released Inside Voice(s): Side A, the first half of a two-part project.
