Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember I had a music teacher named Mr. Boyer, who in second grade brought us a bunch of laptops to use with a music program called Sibelius on it. It was mostly for music notation, but I remember a switch flipped and it made me want to make music
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Sam Smith, In The Lonely Hour (Drowning Shadows Edition) Weezer, Make Believe For an album to truly be great it has to be listenable all the way through and feel like it has a really specific voice. A lot of recent albums just sound like a collection of songs written for the artist. These albums I listened to a ton growing up.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Crossed” I think Crossed was a huge breakthrough for me as far as where I wanted to go sonically, and what I wanted to say with my music. Although I worked on it alone, in a lot of ways it felt like I was given that song by a higher power.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A headline set at a major music festival is a major dream of mine. Theres so many metrics now for success, but in my eyes that would be such an "I made it" moment. Also a number one album.
