Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is being sung 'MLK' by U2 as a lullaby as a young child. It is a soothing and hopeful song that really works as a lullaby. - Adam

Death Cab for Cutie, Thank You for Today Modest Mouse, Good News for People Who Love Bad News The Weakerthans, Reconstruction Site These 3 albums describe CENTRAAL's core inspiration. Reconstruction Site is a WPG Can-Rock classic, Thank You For Today brings electronic elements to alt/indie royalty Death Cab, and Good News is catchy serve-the-song based guitar riffs.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Adrift” Adrift was written through some of the roughest points of the pandemic in 2020-2021. The song is a hopeful catharsis that each member of the band experiences in their own unique way. A fan favorite at shows, this song appears in almost every setlist.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When we get to play somewhere like The Horseshoe Tavern or The Phog Lounge that has so much history of great touring/local bands that have played it stand out to us as most memorable. The nights when we get to play for any hyped up audience as well.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We'd love to tour across Canada one day. This country is so beautiful and full of so many great places. To see it while playing music would be simply a dream come true.
