Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 4, maybe 5 years old. I had a cousin, Bevil Deckert, who was in a band called The Texas Highway Band. I have pictures of me holding Bevil's guitar and dancing around. That country music shot straight through my soul. That set me down the path.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? George Jones, George Jones With Love Rich Mullins, A Liturgy, A Legacy & A Ragamuffin Band Sandra McCracken, The Builder and the Architect George Jones With Love is where "Good Year For The Roses" first appears. That song is chilling and amazing. Sandra McCracken's album is the kind of music I want to write. Mullins passed before I became a believer. This album introduced him to me.
