In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When Dark Side of the Moon came out, my big brother brought it home and put it on the stereo. I was 12 and was captivated immediately. Pink Floyd has remained my favorite band.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Broken Bells, Broken Bells Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here The Paper Kites, States My favorite album is Wish You Were Here and it sets the bar for anything else I listen to. Like Pink Floyd, Broken Bells and The Paper Kites produce music that cross styles and feature excellent musicianship and lyrics.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Transit of Venus” This was my first single. It meets my goal of producing songs that prog and alt rock fans would enjoy. I wanted to have a recognizable, signature sound, yet obviously it's influenced by classic prog and alt rock, with a sense of poetry and mystery.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? As a new artist, when I released my album this year, I was pleasantly surprised by the kind comments and feedback I got, and the comparisons to some of my favorite bands.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Well... since I have hardly any listeners right now... EVERYTHING is on my bucket list! I'm doing this for love, not money, and it would be great to get my music out to people who I know would enjoy it if they gave it a chance.
