In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child, I'd watch my mom paint large mural-sized canvases while listening to vocal jazz records. Our love language was music, art, and creating a cozy space. That memory drives me to create that space for myself and others too.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Solange, A Seat at the Table These three are the ones I tend to return to. They have elements I love that fill a void or something. If I could add RENAISSANCE, AALIYAH, MARY, Illmatiic, and Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, I'd be happier :)
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? OPENING FOR THUNDERCAT IN FRONT OF A SOLD-OUT SHOW AT STAGE AE! AHHHHH! I wanna do it again, man lol.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have A LOT on my list. A LOT. Mainly becoming successful, pushing through my mental limits, singing better, moving better, touring, growing my brand, being healthy inside and out, and truly making music to pass on for generations.
