Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Cold Expectations is influenced by a variety of creative and vibrant sounds of artists we love & connect with: Bowie, Velvet Underground, Modern Lovers & New Order to name a few. 80's underground flowing into 90's indie rock is what it's all about.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? New Order, Power, Corruption and Lies Pixies, Surfer Rosa Remastered Various Artists, Repo Man (Music From the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Cold Expectations takes these three records on all our road trips because they represent everything we love in music and bands. Uncomplicated, bracing and fresh sounding, even though they are all quite old releases!

Tell us why you chose this song. “Hey Compromise” Hey Compromise is a musical love letter to songwriter Tommy Keene, who passed in 2017. He’s got a great tune called “Compromise” (off the record Ten Years After) that the band contemplated as a cover, but decided to write an original instead.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We find the best memories to be the ones that have not happened yet, but looking back on all the shows and friends we've made along the way is certainly packed with great ones. Covering "Ghosts" by Lou Miami and Kozmetix last Halloween was a blast!
