In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad used to play Queen and Michael Jackson while he did house chores. I don't make music in the same area as those two but I hold them both in high regard. The 'Thriller' music video scared me as a kid but I'm still bumping MJ to this day lol.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dr. Dre, 2001 Eminem, The Eminem Show Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak To me 2001 is the turning point in hip-hop. Dre defined an era of rap and 2001 was the album that influenced my sound. Eminem Show is the same gist, part of that defining era and held high. 808's is my favorite Ye album, inspired the vibe of TTTD.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Never Forget (feat. Embis)” This song was my closure in a way. There was so much drama going on in my life in 2021 that fueled a lot of what I wrote about and it got old. Never Forget was my way of closing that door and paving the way for new material in my lyrics.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The night 'Sayin Words' dropped. Me and 44RON were waiting all night for it to go live, it was our first real debut song. The way life felt in that moment could never be replicated and it started the next chapter in our lives.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want a beat from Dr. Dre. The way he organizes his beats is so perfect to me, I would jump at that opportunity in a heartbeat.
