Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to my mother play Chopin, Mozart and Beethoven on the piano while I sat on the floor and listened whole heartedly.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Coltrane, Blue Train Natalie Merchant, Ophelia Pat Metheny, Secret Story Bonus Track Version Ophelia is about as perfect as an album can get. Secret Story is one of my favorite albums of one of my favorite guitarists. Blue Train was the first album I ever heard from John Coltrane and it rocked my world.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Julianna” This is a song written for my youngest daughter, Julianna. When she was a baby I held her in my arms and we danced to this very song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at a sold out show at Madison Square Garden with Christina Aguilera. I used to tour with her as her guitarist.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist and producer I'd like to pass my knowledge to the next generation - especially to my daughter Behya who is just beginning her musical career.
