Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the first time I wrote a song as a kid, during a hard time. Carefully choosing the lyrics and writing them into a notebook was captivating. Singing them into the microphone without holding back was forever freeing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gregory Alan Isakov, This Empty Northern Hemisphere Soundgarden, Superunknown The Black Crowes, Shake Your Money Maker Each of these albums came to me at a time of need. Chris Cornell taught me how to sing with everything. Chris Robinson showed me how to write with soul. Gregory Alan Isakov taught me to be slow, and to savor the words.

Tell us why you chose this song. “In Full Uniform” I wrote this song from the perspective of my uncle that I never got to meet. He went to war at a young age and never returned. Even though I never knew him, I always felt a connection and felt the void that was left behind without him.
