Since the late 2000s, Atlanta-based DJ and mixtape mogul DJ Holiday has played a crucial role in the rise of many of the biggest names in hip-hop, working with Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, Wiz Khalifa, and many others as they rose to stardom. Along with hosting massively successful mixtapes for other artists, Holiday released plenty of his own music, almost always featuring high-profile friends. 2015's God Bless included contributions from Young Thug, Kevin Gates, Migos, and many, many others, and Holiday continued evolving on singles like 2023's Wiz Khalifa- and O.T. Genasis-assisted "No Stress."
