Espinoza Pazについて
Regional Mexican singer-songwriter Espinoza Paz (Isidro Chávez Espinoza) was 11 years old when he composed his first song for a girl he had a crush on.
∙ He took his stage name in honor of his late mother, María de la Paz Espinoza, who had encouraged him to follow his musical dreams.
∙ Paz’s first big break came in 2005, when singer José Angel Ledezma Quintero, better known as El Coyote, cut a hit version of the songwriter’s “Besitos En El Cuello.”
∙ His 2008 album, Yo No Canto Pero Lo Intentamos, would be the first of two Platinum LPs he released that year.
∙ The Mexican version of the reality series The Voice named Paz one of the show’s four coaches in its 2011 debut season.
∙ Paz has won three prestigious Premios Lo Nuestro awards, including two consecutive honors for Regional Mexican Male Artist of the Year, in 2012 and 2013.
∙ In 2017, his song “Compromiso Descartado” was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award, marking the fourth time he’s been nominated for Best Regional Mexican Song.
