Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Here's one. It was dark, warm, wet. A sudden burst of light. An intense pressure like I'd never felt before. Father, dressed in white, pulls me forward. Mother bites the cord... Oh wait, sorry, that's just an Office quote.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big Thief, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You Black Country, New Road, Ants From Up There Joni Mitchell, Blue These records capture what we go for as a collective. Blue for pure vulnerability and emotional expression, DNWM for lyrical wit and magic, AFUT for what challenging what is musically possible from a large band in an indie-rock setting.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Scotland” Scotland is the first song demo we had, the fist song we rehearsed, the first song we recorded, and the first song we shared. It's the sound of us figuring out who we are and what we're capable of together.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In August 2022 we held a six day reunion in a cabin in the woods. This was the first time we'd all been together in over 3 years. In those six days we created an 11-track record of our friendship: For Flowers Yet to Bloom. We hope you love it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We've only just begun. Album number two is already on it's way.
