Charles Mingus, Mingus Ah Um Bonus Track Version John Coltrane, Blue Train Oliver Nelson, The Blues And The Abstract Truth 'Blues & the Abstract Truth" - Oliver Nelson: This album is the pure definition of compositional mastery and soulful phrasing. "Mingus Ah Um" - Charles Mingus: Fantastic orchestration. "Blue Train" - John Coltrane: Morgan & Trane, just wow.
