In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I still remember getting my first guitar for my birthday at 9 years old. I was terrible for years, could only play one riff, but it sure was a catalyst that started my whole journey through this space.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DJ Shadow, Endtroducing..... Little People, Mickey Mouse Operation These three albums really set the tone for my love for trip hop, acid jazz, and instrumental hip hop. There are so many greats out there, pioneers I didn't list of course, but these three albums stand out as my personal favorites.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Color and Shadow” My favorite is probably one of my upcoming tracks, but I still love the sound on Color and Shadow. I was trying to build my production skills, step out of the lofi-shadow and start to bring more trip hop crunch and heart back into my music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? "Bed and Breakfast" randomly went low-key viral in August of it's release year. It was awesome to just see it all of a sudden getting plays from countries all over the world across so many platforms. What an opportunity artists have now.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Honestly I'd love to collaborate with artists I look up to, just working on even one demo track together would be awesome.
