Once known as the band ...And Oceans, Helsinki, Finland's Havoc Unit left aside their former identity in addition to that particular band's sound in 2006. Embracing a more industrial and experimental take on black and death metal, Havoc Unit won critical plaudits with their first full-length release, h.IV+ (Hoarse Industrial Viremia), in 2008. Members jos.f (vocals), t.kunz (guitars, bass), heinr.ich (keyboards), and sa.myel (drums) had released prior work, including a trio of splits in 2007, one with "former" band (and identity) ...And Oceans. ~ Chris True
