During a hiatus in Lady A's career, Hillary Scott recorded an inspirational album called Love Remains. This 2016 effort was credited to Hillary Scott & The Scott Family, a tip of the hat to the extended kin supporting her on the album. Scott started singing with her family as a child -- she was the daughter of country vocalist Linda Davis and Lang Scott. During high school and college, she continued to perform, eventually forming Lady A with Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood in 2006. Between 2008 and 2014, the trio released five albums, and in 2016, Scott brought her parents and sister Rylee into the studio to record the modern-day gospel album Love Remains, which debuted at number one on Billboard's Christian Albums chart and number two on its Top Country Albums chart.
