Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Standing behind the drums while my dad played. Drums are my first love and a big reason why I write and sing the way that I do.

Gavin DeGraw, Chariot - Stripped (Deluxe Edition) John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life John Mayer is the reason I learned to play guitar. If you say you haven't been influenced by Stevie Wonder... YOU'RE LYING. Gavin Degraw is who taught me how to sing. People call him country but he is a SOUL SINGER. Exhibit A: "Change Is Gonna Come"
