Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was a kid holding a cello nearly my size, chasing one pure note until the room answered. At night I layered rough bow takes over simple beats, trying to make Bach breathe new air, and that things drives me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Tell us why you chose this song. “Echoes Of You” ‘Echoes Of You’ matters to me as the purest version of my voice: lyrical cello lines braided with subtle analog pulses. I placed bow noise and harmonics where a vocal might sit, then let the low end bloom like a heartbeat.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall for John Williams’s 85th felt historic; later, Sir Karl Jenkins composing Appassionata for me, and its premiere in Wales, confirmed my voice could inspire new music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to create a long-form project for orchestra, solo cello, and electronics that audiences can experience live and as an immersive concerts, clips, recordings. One life. One chance. One journey.
