Jets Overheadについて
Originally known as the Special Guests, Victoria, British Columbia-based rock band Jets Overhead are known not only for their well-crafted pop/rock but as an early proponent of the free/voluntary donation model for digital releases. The group’s music matches the soaring alternative sounds of British bands such as Radiohead and Coldplay with the influence of 1960s psychedelic acts. As such, their albums often have a trance-y, hypnotic feel but also embrace catchy melodies and traditional song structures. After releasing 2006’s BRIDGES and touring heavily, the band recorded NO NATIONS on tiny Hornby Island, drawing inspiration from their beautiful natural surroundings.
