In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first musical moment that I can remember was when I first started playing the guitar. I was around 11 or 12 at the time. I've been playing for 10-11 years. Since I started playing the guitar, I have been in love with many genres of music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, 4 Your Eyez Only J. Cole, The Off-Season JID, The Forever Story 4 Your Eyez Only - I loved this project because there were so many aspects in the album that I could personally relate to. The Forever Story - This album hit different for me because JID talks about family. The Off-Season - So many bangers.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Strings On Me. (Interlude.)” I like to think that "NO STRINGS ON ME" is now an anthem, and it's a special song to me. I performed this song in front of 5,000 people, flashlights in the crowd, in a stadium. The song grew in popularity, and it's one of my most known songs today.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moments I've had in my career, was opening for NLE Choppa, and Polo G, in St. John's, Newfoundland. I performed at two absolutely crazy shows, and I got to meet both of them after. I will never forget these moments.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I guess for my bucket list, I would just want to be able to get my name heard, and have more of an audience, so I can make more music for those who enjoy it.
