In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 3, my dad had a home studio in his closet. He'd bring me in to sing my ABCs into the mic, and I loved every second of it. That's when i fell in love with music, not just because of the craft, but because it made me feel closer to him.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Earth, Wind & Fire, The Essential Earth, Wind & Fire Erykah Badu, Best of Erykah Badu Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Sade pulls me into a world of deep love and emotion, while Erykah Badu explores love, identity, and social issues that still resonate today. Earth, Wind & Fire reminds me that music is freedom, bold, limitless, and true.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Talking to Teezo Touchdown on IG Live was surreal. He's one of my biggest inspirations, and hearing him say, "I believe in you. I can't wait to see you at the top," meant everything. It felt like a sign from the universe that I'm on the right path.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to show the world that Memphis artists are more than one sound. My goal is to build something real, stay true to my artistry, and prove that taking the authentic path is worth it. Bigger stages will come, but right now, I just want to be seen.
