In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I got my guitar for Christmas, and named her "Harmony." I was frustrated with the way she was tuned, so I made up my own tuning (very similar to drop D) and came up with songs using my own tuning and my own chords!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of my favorite memories of lacewing has been creating "winter" with some of my mates at my sister's birthday party--we gathered in my bedroom, opened my phone's "Voice Memos" and my cousin made a beat by hitting a journal on her leg. Legendary.
