A post-hardcore/modern rock outfit formed by brothers Ben (guitar) and Joe (drums) Lionetti, both of whom were founding members of metalcore greats Emmure, Lakeshore employ a more melodic approach to the genre, favoring clean vocals over tonsil-shredding, and sonorous riffage over palm-muted breakdowns. Rounded out by vocalist Shawn Adams, bassist Chris Segovia, and guitarist Mitch LoBuglio, the band recorded its debut EP, 41, with producer Ken Susi of Unearth (the Contortionist, Madball). Released via Outerloop Records in 2017, the album featured guest spots from Karl Shubach of Misery Signals and Jessie Freeland of the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. ~ James Christopher Monger
