Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting at the keyboard in my childhood home, teaching myself to play chords in the completely wrong way. Eventually my parents put me in lessons.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mr Little Jeans, Pocketknife Ryn Weaver, The Fool Wolf Alice, My Love Is Cool (Deluxe Edition) MLIC is the first album I fell in love with as a tween, and it's still my fave Wolf Alice record. I've never heard a voice quite like Ryn's on The Fool; such elegant indie-pop songwriting. And Pocketknife is just damn good, I never get tired of it.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “One Too Many Times” I wrote the first pass of this song in an hour. For the most part, the version you hear is the first version I first wrote. There's something so vulnerable about the first draft, I couldn't imagine it any other way.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The day my EP came out. It was so beautiful seeing the reaction to a project I put so much of my heart into. Still so grateful <3
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to perform at a major festival someday... Bonnaroo, All Things Go, Lolla, etc. It's such a great way to discover new artists and reach new audiences!
