In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father would play a different vinyl everyday. That was the first time I heard Michael Jackson and I was hooked after that.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kelly” I actually hated this song at first, having to dig so deep and be so vulnerable. Then the more I got to sit with it the more I came to appreciate the beauty I was able to create through pain.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing my very first album (The Odyssey) for the first time and damn near everybody in the room knowing the words and singing along. I was still relatively new so making the jump from Datpiff to Apple Music was a risk but one I'm glad we took.
