With her face hidden by a cat mask, DIY singer, songwriter, and producer Limbo has made her name with viral bedroom-pop songs like “Airplane Mode.”
• Limbo started producing music in 2014 while living in San Francisco. Her stage name derives from the famous dance—and the fact that she was in a state of limbo at the time.
• Her quirky 2016 song “Airplane Mode” found early viral success on TikTok, where it’s appeared in more than a quarter-million videos. It’s also surpassed 125 million streams across platforms.
• Between 2018 and 2020, she released five full-length albums.
• Outside of her strong streaming presence, Limbo has sold USB drives of her songs at shows. These limited-edition releases have become collector's items among fans.
