Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 4th grade, my band director asked me to perform at the Meyer Amphitheater. She told me that I had a gift in not just music, but entertainment. She was the 1st non-family member (outside of church) who believed in me. That changed my life forever.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Heavy D, Waterbed Hev Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Will Smith, Big Willie Style Marcus Miller once said that he judges songs by "if it's something that I wish I had written." I believe I follow that same format. These albums were ahead of their time and helped shape my development as an artist. They liberated me to find me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fonqwitus” This was the first song I ever released. It holds sentimental value because I had just lost my grandfather. I was depressed and doubted myself. So, releasing this song on his birthday was in his honor and to prove to myself that I could do it.
