Emerging from the Folk Music Department at the prestigious Sibelius Academy in 1983, Neikku have become trail-blazers for the "New Finnish Folk Movement." This six-person group present a stripped-down sound through a wide variety of instruments. Neikku subsequently broke up, with members going on to pursue their own careers. ~ Leon Jackson
