In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My very first performance was at the age of 4 at my church. The children's choir sang "Happy Birthday Jesus" by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and I was chosen to sing the solo.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kimbra, Vows (Deluxe Version) Laufey, Everything I Know About Love Noel, Ace of Archery - Single Ace of Archery is an EP of mine that I just can't get enough of. Kimbra is a long time favorite artist, and her album Vows (Deluxe Version) is the epitome of no skips. Lastly, Laufey is a recent artist discovery of mine, but I absolutely love her.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hover” Hover is the first song of mine that I felt my musical abilities as a singer/songwriter clicked. It's the only song of mine I cried to while writing the music, and I think the conversational aspect of the vocals really bring out a special quality.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? While not necessarily a part of my artist career, I've had some really great experiences as a growing singer over the years. My favorite would have to be travelling to Croatia to sing in Rovinj, and meeting some great people like Paul Mealor.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are some collabs I would love to do with some artists. My top collab would be Laufey. When I first discovered her, I had her songs on repeat for months. Working together and showing my audience a different quality to my voice would be amazing.
