In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the first time I heard Stevie Ray Vaughn. I was 10 years old and my dad had just picked up the "In Step" album. When I heard "The House is Rockin" I was hooked on the blues from that point on.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Herbie Hancock, Head Hunters José González, Veneer (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) Roy Buchanan, Roy Buchanan Roy Buchanan's self titled album was one of my Dad's favorite's. Chameleon from Herbie Hancock's head hunters was my first intro to funk and jazz. And Veneer from Jose Gonzalez introduced me to the magic of a single nylon acoustic guitar.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tall Pines” I really enjoyed writing this song. I love writing on an acoustic guitar. The main riff just kind of fell into place, and once it was there, the rest of the melodies seem to magically come together.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I haven't been producing lofi for long, but when I first discovered the amazing community of producers that exists I was blown away. Everyone is very supportive and always ready to collaborate.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a list of amazing lofi musicians who I'd like to collaborate with. I'm thankful that I've already been able to collab with a few!
