Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing my grandfather playing piano from the other room. He was always playing and practicing no matter the occasion.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere Sonic Youth, Daydream Nation (2012 Remastered Version) Television, Marquee Moon Neil Young is my musical hero. Marquee Moon is a perfect album. When I write guitar parts I think, “how would Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd do it?” I remember my dad playing Daydream Nation for the first time and being blown away. And I still am.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Ghost Piano” I wrote this song for my late grandfather who was a very accomplished jazz pianist. There is a piano at my grandmother’s house that he recorded himself on and when we put it on it’s like he’s still around. Only music has the ability to do that.
