Amid the K-pop boom of the mid-2010s that penetrated Western culture and media, ONEWE stand out from the heaps of idols and boy bands like BTS, Stray Kids, or EXO. The quintet formed under their own auspices in 2015, recording material under the names M.A.S. 0094 and MAS before rebranding under the South Korean label RBW and achieving even greater local success in the 2020s, releasing the best-selling Planet Nine EPs between 2021 and 2024 and the Top Ten album WE: Dream Chaser in 2025.
