Phantogramについて
The electro-pop duo Phantogram—Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter—have showcased their genre-blending sound through chart-topping albums and collaborations with artists like Big Boi, Miley Cyrus, and The Flaming Lips. They made their national TV debut in 2011 on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, performing “Mouthful of Diamonds” with Questlove on drums. In 2012, they teamed up with Outkast’s Big Boi on three tracks from his solo album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. Their sonically adventurous major-label debut, Voices, landed in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Alternative Albums charts. The duo reunited with Big Boi in 2015 for the collaborative EP Big Grams, featuring guest appearances from Run The Jewels and Skrillex. In 2016, they released their heartbreaking third LP, Three, which was partly inspired by the loss of Barthel’s sister. The shapeshifting pop album Ceremony arrived in 2020, and was followed in 2024 by the psychedelic electronics of Memory of a Day.
