Daughter of banda superstar Jenni Rivera, Chiquis Rivera followed in her mother's footsteps to become a TV personality, singer, entrepreneur, and author in her own right. Released in 2014, Chiquis' first single, "Paloma Blanca," was dedicated to her mother, who tragically died in a plane crash in 2012. Ahora, her debut album, appeared one year later. Over the following decade, Chiquis became one of the most popular Latin celebrities in the U.S., releasing several Regional Mexican albums, launching her own cosmetics brand, writing a memoir, frequently guesting on TV shows, and founding a charity foundation.
