Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My passion for music began when I saw a friend of my mother's playing the piano. She loved to create dreamy melodies that transported me to unseen places. The first note I played on the piano felt like a jolt; we have never been separated since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fink, Fink’s Sunday Night Blues Club, Vol. 1 Hooverphonic, The Best of Hooverphonic Morcheeba, Morcheeba: The Platinum Collection I have always loved slow rhythms and dreamy atmospheres. Morcheeba and Hooverphonic were the soundtrack of my childhood and adolescence, while I love Fink for the depth and darkness of his music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “ame no asa” "ame no asa" is a piece born from my journey in Japan. It reminds me of the scent of pine trees after the rain in a forest near Kyoto. I felt a profound sense of peace, it was a mystical experience.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Shortly after I released my first track on Apple Music a girl wrote to me saying that my music had given her beautiful feelings. At that moment I realized that with my notes I could improve someone's day anywhere in the world.It's an incredible thing
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Every day for me is a new beginning that brings with it new desires and new dreams. I never stop dreaming.
