In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories was hearing the album 'And Then There Were Three' by Genesis. The music was so different and so interesteing to me that it grabbed my attention immediately. I remember also being enthralled with the Atlantic Records Logo
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Genesis, Selling England By the Pound John Coltrane, Blue Train The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band I love all three of these albums and I chose them because they have been a huge influence to my musical production style. I like to fuse Jazz,Prog Rock, Funk, and Classical Styles.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Approach” Approach is one of my favorite tracks that I have produced. It has a soaring Lyricism to it that really speaks to me. It's also one of the first tracks I ever created as Sawtooth 311 so it brings back the absolute joy I had when creating it!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment was the first time I played in the Broadway pit of Les Miserables in NYC. For me, as a young musician it was the fulfillment of a dream as well as a validation as a young professional musician that others valued my work.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It has always been a dream of mine to be a film composer. Some of my music has a cinematic style. I would love to expand on that side and create dramatic film scores before I leave this planet:)
