In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My high school talent show was my start in music. I loved forgetting my lyrics on stage, as well as the mic cutting out. Despite these hiccups, the rush was unforgettable. It ignited my passion for music and I'm grateful for that experience.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) Raleigh Ritchie, You're a Man Now, Boy (Deluxe) Saba, Bucket List Project Take Care: You just don't hear music like this anymore Y.A.M.N.B: Honestly...You just have to listen for yourself ("I can change" is a hidden Gem) Bucket List Project: Saba showed me there is more to rap than just "Rap"
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hydroplane (feat. Tempo Stokes)” This record was where I really started to find my voice. Before that, I was kind of all over the place, but this track helped me focus on my vocals and refine my sound. I'm proud of it, and it was a crucial step in finding my own unique style.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? As of right now, getting one of my songs past 100K streams, inshallah there are more to come!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm a reasonable man...as far as a bucket list goes, there are only two for me, perform at my own concert, and do a song with J.Cole
