Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “How I Love Jesus (I Love Him) [feat. The Baptist Sisters, Tank and the Bangas & Cory Henry]” The lyrics reflect my journey of finding strength and solace through my spirituality, capturing both the joy and the challenges of that connection. It’s a heartfelt expression of that resonates with anyone who shares a similar love for their faith.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moments was opening for Beyoncé, receiving support from Jay-Z and winning a Grammy for my work helping HBCU students reconnect with their Gospel roots. It truly shaped my journey.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to create a legacy catalog for gospel history. I want to document and preserve the rich traditions and influences of gospel music, ensuring future generations can appreciate its powerful impact and honor those who paved the way.
