Featuring banjoist Tony Trischka, Skyline helped pioneer the newgrass sound in the '80s, combining a bluegrass/country blend with strong songs and tight harmonies. They issued several albums on the Flying Fish label, including Late to Work in 1981, Stranded in the Moonlight in 1984, Skyline Drive in 1986, and Fire of Grace (the group's final record) in 1989. ~ Chip Renner
