Spindrift are a cinematically inspired rock band who call Los Angeles home by way of their hometown, Newark, Delaware. The group was founded by singer, songwriter, and actor Kirpatrick Thomas. The group's sound, as depicted on recordings such as Diablo, Legend of God’s Gun, and West, was influenced heavily by the sounds of Ennio Morricone, the Doors, My Bloody Valentine, Hawkwind, Bruce Haack, and Chrome. ~ Thom Jurek
