In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I believe my love for music started when I was younger. I would create my own drumset by building pots, pans, workout ball, and a djembe to play along to "The Wiggles" theme song every time it would come on.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Besides these albums including the greatest artists of our time- these projects had sonically impacted the way I listen and study production, story-telling, and lyrical ability. To be that diverse in their craft, inspires me to sharpen my own.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Above the Bar” This was at a point where I was still trying to figure myself out and manifest hope for the future me. After releasing and performing this song, I would have people tell me that it helped them with their mental health and gave them a reason to live.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Showing a song I made from scratch to my mom and her not believe that I made it. I feel like that was the moment she knew I had something.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't necessarily like creating a list because then I'm limiting myself to what God can do. So for now, whatever God has for me on His list, that's what I'm going to fulfill.
